Entraide Femmes Afrique-Canada (EFAC) is dedicated to empowering women, youth, newcomers, immigrants, refugees, and vulnerable individuals and families by providing essential support, education, and resources that promote dignity, inclusion, and self-sufficiency. Our mission is to relieve poverty, advance education, and strengthen communities by offering settlement assistance, mentorship, employment support, skills development programs, and access to community resources. Through compassion, collaboration, and advocacy, EFAC helps individuals overcome barriers, build confidence, and successfully participate in Canadian society.

Restoring Dignity Through Choice And Comfort

For families navigating new beginnings—including refugees, immigrants, and widows—clothing is a means of preserving Karamah (Dignity). We provide high-quality, seasonal attire for both children and adults, ensuring every individual can move through their new community with confidence and respect.

Building Foundations for Newcomers and Orphans

Knowledge is the key to autonomy. Our programs offer specialized support for immigrant and refugee children to bridge educational gaps, alongside school supplies and tutoring. By fostering a love for learning, we empower the next generation to lead with purpose and excellence.

Halal Sustenance for Families in Transition

Food security is the cornerstone of a stable home. We provide nutritious, Halal meals and grocery support to families facing hardship, ensuring widows and orphans are cared for. This initiative is an expression of Ukhuwwa (Brotherhood), nourishing the body so the spirit can flourish.

Vocational Pathways to Self-Reliance

To help newcomers and widows rebuild their lives independently, we offer vocational training and life-skills workshops. By equipping heads of households with marketable skills, we facilitate their transition into the workforce, helping them achieve long-term financial stability.
