Who We Are
Entraide Femmes Afrique-Canada (EFAC) envisions an inclusive and empowered community where women, youth, newcomers, immigrants, refugees, and vulnerable individuals and families have dependable access to resources and opportunities that enrich and improve their lives. A community where everyone feels welcomed and supported, where individuals have the opportunity to overcome barriers, build independence, and actively contribute. A community where everyone can feel valued, empowered, and fulfilled.
EFAC builds an inclusive and empowered community by:
Resource Accessibility:
• Providing access to settlement assistance, educational resources, employment opportunities, and community support services.
• Collaborating with local organizations, institutions, businesses, and community partners.
Empowerment Programs:
• Offering workshops, training, mentorship, and skills development to enhance knowledge and independence.
• Connecting individuals with mentors, advisors, and employment resources for guidance and support.
Community Engagement:
• Organizing inclusive activities, educational initiatives, and community events that foster belonging, social inclusion, and active participation.
We operate in West Africa (Niger) and Canada.
Donations
YES. All donations to Entraide Femmes Afrique-Canada are eligible for tax receipts. Tax-creditable receipts will be automatically issued for all donations of $20 or more, and for lower amounts when requested.
